Fairtrade Town
Since 2004, Arundel has been a
Fairtrade Town – the first in West Sussex. This
achievement reflects the support for Fairtrade across
the town at food retailers, restaurants, cafes and in
businesses and organizations which includes the
Town Council.
Throughout the year events are held, culminating in
the Christmas Fair at Arundel Castle.
The Group is also behind the campaign to make
Arundel a plastic-bag free town.
For more details and to join in, contact Pip Young
on 01903 884311.

Ahighly popular town attraction is the Farmers
Market which is held throughout the year.
It usually takes place
every month on the 3rd
Saturday (9am-1pm)in
and around the town
square and river
frontage.
