the wonderful countryside of the Cherwell Valley and
the Cotswold Borders, Blenheim Palace and Rousham
Gardens, or access the famous City of Oxford in the
greenest way possible!
Our cycle hire bases at Heyford and Thrupp* offer a
variety of bike sizes including Tag-alongs and kids’ bikes
– all with safety helmets, locks, pumps, puncture kits and
a convenient haversack to carry them in. Hire for a day
or a half day – last hires commence at 14.30 for return by
17.30.
We offer route planning advice on your arrival: our
staff can advise on off-road and country lanes options,
using the canal towpath, and even one-way trips between
our bases and/or using the train to return to our base at
Heyford (cycles are carried free on local trains).
Our bases also offer free parking, and at Thrupp*
a courtesy bus is available to meet you from either
Hanborough or Heyford stations (pre-booking required
– min 4 persons).
