Depart Shimla to Palampur, known as the ‘Tea
Capital of North India,’ a popular hill station of snow
clad mountains, sprawling tea gardens, quaint
temples and colonial buildings. Time to relax after

Day 7: Palampur
Visit a tea factory this morning for insight into the
processing methods of India’s most popular drink.
Then, on to St. John's Church, a local landmark, and
Bundla Chasm with its beautiful waterfall. Afternoon
drive to nearby Tashijong to visit a Tibetan
monastery; ample time to browse for Tibetan art
and handicrafts before returning to Palampur. (B)
Day 8: Palampur / Pragpur
Morning drive to Pragpur, India’s first certified
Heritage Vil age. Original y built in memory of Princess
Prag Dei, the village has a wealth of charming
temples, buildings and local crafts. Upon arrival,

Day 9: Pragpur / Dharamshala
Morning transfer to Dharamshala amid fragrant pine
forests. This quaint mountain village, known as the

exile and is the headquarters of His Holiness the Dalai
