Imaginosity, Dublin Children's Museum is
designed for children up to 10 years. At
Imaginosity, children’s imaginations and
their innate curiosity are given free rein
to explore the world around them.
In Ireland's only eco-friendly building for
children, Imaginosity is packed with
colourful, expertly designed exhibits
developed in collaboration with educators,
parents and children. It’s a museum experi-
ence unlike any other for the whole family.
including "Portobello", circa 1700, one
of the earliest surviving doll houses, and
one from the family of Oscar Wilde’s
mother.
Fry Model Railway (www.visitdublin.com)
is a unique collection of handmade
models of Irish trains, from the beginning
of rail travel to modern times. It will chug
its way into hearts of any age. The beauti-
fully engineered models are from a
collection originally built up Cyril Fry, a
railway engineer and draughtsman, with
each piece assembled ϐ
attention to detail. They run on a Grand
Transport Complex which includes
stations, bridges, trams, barges and even
the River Liffey.
