No other city will offer the children such
a thrill. Imagine going on a tour of the
history and sites of Dublin City in the
company of a costumed Viking tour guide,
and experiencing the unique thrill of the
Viking ‘Duck’ splashing into the water at
the latterly developed Grand Canal
Docklands where the recording studios of
U2 and much more are to be explored.
Along with the parts of Dublin associated
with its Viking settlers, you will see the
city’s two famous cathedrals – St. Patrick's
and Christchurch – Trinity College and
Georgian Dublin.
Dublin Zoo was opened way back in 1830,
but was nothing like today’s fascinating
place. It is Ireland’s top family visitor
attraction, and a great place to start your
visit to the Republic’s capital. Its location,
the Phoenix Park, is itself the largest urban
park in Europe. Among the zoo’s top
draws is the 30-acre African Plains, where
giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos and lions
‘roam’. You can go on the Nakuru Safari.
That’s Ǥ ǯ ϐ
ǡ
sure not to miss the keepers’ ‘Tiger Talk’,
‘Chimpanzee Chat’, and ‘Sea Lion Splash’.
