Welcome to a vertical merry go round. 
Enclosed in one of the 42 fully enclosed, 
climate controlled ‘gondolas’ you gently 
soar up to a height of 60 metres. Each 
capsule seats up to six adults and two 
children. For the next 13 minutes, 
Belfast’s fascinating urban landscape 
spreads below you, and you can see its 
many avatars, from solid Victorian 
buildings to contemporary steel and 
glass towers, spires, slate roofs and 
modern terraces. The view stretches to 
the shimmering river Lagan. A piped 
commentary points out the special 
landmarks, but rather than individual 
sights, it’s the whole experience which is 
so spell binding. Warning: Kids will make 
a huge fuss to get off, and will demand a 
repeat ride. Value 10% discounts on all 
ticket types are available when booking 
online. You can also buy tickets over the 
phone. Private capsules are available, but 
if you want to celebrate, book a VIP one.
